 And our bandwidth goes SHHHHOOOOOOK!
Today I got curious where we were on our bandwidth. Normally around this time we're nearing 2GB.
It was over 5GBs.
This was odd, since updates have spiraled down and advertising was still just a $20 budget. So I did some investigating. You wouldn't believe what it was.
I posted on the front page of a currently highly trafficked thread (650+ pages) and the front page was being continuously updated, so people kept refreshing to see the new news on the front post. The imagemap I use in my signature was being downloaded into (according to the site's counter) 60,000 individual PCs.
Yeah, just thought you'd like to know.
